Download the APK File
After activating your license, download the APK file from the main page. The file will be saved to your device's Downloads folder.
Enable "Install Unknown Apps"
Before installing, you need to allow your device to install apps from sources other than Google Play Store:
- Open Settings on your Android device
- Navigate to Security or Privacy
- Find "Install unknown apps" or "Unknown sources"
- Select your File Manager or Browser (whichever you used to download)
- Toggle Allow from this source to ON
Note: On some devices, this setting is called "Allow from this source" or "Install apps from this source".
Locate the Downloaded APK
Find the APK file on your device:
- Open your File Manager app (also called "My Files" or "Files")
- Navigate to the Downloads folder
- Look for "app-release.apk" or "A320_FCOM_Quiz.apk"
Alternative: You can also tap the download notification to open the file directly.
Install the App
Follow these steps to complete the installation:
- Tap on the APK file
- A prompt will appear asking if you want to install this application
- Review the permissions (if any are shown)
- Tap "Install"
- Wait for the installation to complete (usually takes 5-10 seconds)
Launch the App
Once installation is complete:
- Tap "Open" to launch immediately, or
- Find the A320 FCOM Quiz icon in your app drawer
- Tap the icon to start studying!
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues:
- "App not installed" error: Make sure you enabled "Install unknown apps" for your file manager
- "Parse error": The APK file may be corrupted. Try downloading it again
- Can't find the file: Check your browser's downloads or use a file manager to search for ".apk" files
- Installation blocked: Some antivirus apps may block installation. Temporarily disable them or add an exception
- "Harmful app blocked": This is a Google Play Protect warning. Tap "Install anyway" if you trust the source
Security Note
After installation, you can disable "Install unknown apps" for added security. Go back to Settings → Security → Install unknown apps and turn it OFF for your file manager.
This app is safe and doesn't require any special permissions. It only accesses your device storage to save your progress.
